DivX video file won't play in my in-dash / car device.

I can't playback my videos on my in-dash car device - trying to use a USB drive... and I keep getting an 'unsupported' error message.

For anyone those having issues playing back your DivX video files on an in-dash car device: please make sure that your files are in the supported resolution, the best way is to use the DivX Converter and convert your video files using the Home Theater profile.

Also, make sure that whatever media (USB, CD, DVD) you are using is also supported and meets any requirements - please consult your device's owner manual - most in-dash car devices only support playback of DivX video files via a compatible CD or DVD.

You might be able to playback using a USB drive, but the video files may need to be in a different format and/or resolution - again, your owner's manual should have all the detailed information of the requirements, compatibility and specifications.
