Couldn't be more disappointed.
I upgraded to Divx Pro so as to be able to play MP4 video with sound. The Player won't play them and the Converter won't convert them. Waste of my time. Waste of my money. I bought it to use in playing police videos in a criminal case. The website that provided me the video content included a link to Divx telling I would need to use it. The vanilla version didn't work and the Pro version didn't work. I went to another service and everything is now just fine.
I would like my money back but I find it hard to believe that Divx will care.

The DivX Software can support MP4 files - do you recall what is the video / audio codec of those files? You may need to install a third party codec, depending on those...
