3 years after purchasing DivX 10... unable to enter key when Installing on a fresh system

    Hello Ken,

    Was the DivX Pro Software previously being installed on the same system? Did you download the installer from the link that is provided order confirmation email? If this is the same system (same PC / OS) then the installer will "remember" and your software license should already be registered.

    Also, what is the DivX Control Panel showing as far as the components showing as registered?

    I did download the installer and I thought that I had it still saved. But it appears that I lost it. HOWEVER, good news! The version that I did install called for an update. I proceeded with it, rebooted, still had a problem with not having a registered program, was about to uninstall it when I noticed on the new (?) configeration of this software that registering is available via a seperate icon in the start menu. So... then fired up the registration menu, attempted to register it with my Version 10 key, and it wouldn't let me because apparently I didn't have it installed, but a link was provided where I could aquire version 10 software. I then proceeded, and during the installation of THAT software, it asked me for the key. Now everything is as it should be.

    I'm having the same problem, I purchased my version of Divx Pro software years back, I've tried to reinstall the software to a PC that already was running the software but I had to reinstall Windows and the link that was included with my serial number in the confirmation email fails to complete successfully. It appears to install but then at the last minute it returned an error and prompt to contact Divx Support, still waiting to hear back from them.
