DivX Player Crashes

Same as my earlier post regarding the converter. Yes the DivX player is also crashing.

I cant play anything with the DivX player.

Same as a few years back.

Im sad i bought the pro version of something that doesnt work.

  Hi Jovan,

  There are a few areas where there are likely to be compatibility issues with DivX codex/player and macOS, especially the current Mojave. Give a check to see if your apps fit into one of the following categories, which is likely cause this crashing problems:

  1. Check if your DivX is a 32-bit app (YES), which is lack of support in Mojave.

  
  2. Check if DivX has its own implementation of new Mojave features like Dark Mode, or rely on features removed from Mojave.
  3. Try to uninstall Divx and reinstall it on your Mac.
