Does DivX work on Windows 10?

Yes, DivX Software can be installed / run on a Windows 10 PC, you can download and install the latest version from here.

  My P.C. is windows 10 with a 32 bit processor. At present I have just one gig of ram installed.

   

  Each time I attempt to install, I get a message after the first part of the installation saying, DivX cannot complete install, shutting down. Attached at the bottom is a "close" button.

  I have the exact same problem. Very frustrating. Windows 10 with 64 bit.

  Me too on Windows 10 - 64 bit, but I have plenty of ram and it keeps telling me the same. Only in my case it does put the blame on my internet connection which is speed-light and quite reliable (so far). Anyway, somehow it has been installed by trying the free version. I thought I could enter the license key after and access it in a different way, but when I clicked on the new icon the Pro version was there, only now I cannot find a way to register it...

  I had to reset my PC a few days back due to a bad crash and now I have to reinstall everything that is non-Microsoft, thankfully I kept passwords, license keys and even install engines well safe. The rest can always be download it, but DivX is proving hard to get.

  I kinda gave up, thinking my processor and ram is to slow. But I just noticed a link that a member has posted, so I'm gonna give it a shot. I'll follow up here after I try it.

  Hi Dave,

  Is that link to the Divx Pro version? I have bought and have the Pro license but when I install it and enter the license it gives me an error "DivX cannot complete install, shutting down". I tried that link you have there and when installed I try to enter the license and it says that it is not the pro version. Any ideas?

  I have just purchased DIVX 10 PRO and installed on my pc. no problems. but I am unable to access player. When I click on player. it displays on desktop for about 4 seconds, then disappears. I am using windows 10, 64 bit. Is DIVX compatible.  Need some help please
