AVG Antivirus prevents from updating

I'm getting warnings from AVG saying A threat has been blocked, file dxa68CE.tmp is infected with Win32:MiscX-gen (pup), I've a thousand times "used make an exception" in the AVG windows and advised AVG this an update of DIVX. However nothing is done and it repeats itself today.
