How do I set playback settings for my DivX and DivX Plus decoders?

When watching a DivX or DivX Plus video in a third-party media player (like WMP) you can set playback settings by:

Going to Start > Programs > DivX > Codec Settings > This will launch DivX Control Panel. Now click on "Playback Settings" from the menu on the left.

Here you can change settings for the DivX (ASP) decoder and DivX Plus (H.264) decoder
