The 'DivX' logo watermark that appears in the lower right-hand corner of a video during the first few seconds of playback is intended to show both that the video was encoded with DivX and that the genuine DivX decoder is being used to decode the video. The logo is overlayed during playback and is not actually encoded into the video itself.
You can prevent the logo watermark from being displayed by accessing the 'Codec Pack Settings' in the 'DivX Control Panel. To access the Codec Pack Settings go to: Start > Programs > DivX > Register and then click on 'Codec Pack Setting'. Un-check the option that reads "Show DivX watermark on video" on the 'General' tab and click the 'Close' button.
Mac Users Please Note - Currently there is no way to disable the DivX Logo watermark in the DivX Player for Mac.
