Commercial DVDs that are encrypted cannot be encoded by DivX Converter.
The progress bar may not progress smoothly when encoding some WMV files.
AC3 audio volume may be low if the settings are not adjusted. Read the AC3 low audio FAQ.
Loading files in groups onto Converter may not build the list as it's shown or sorted in Windows.
Creating files larger than 2GB may lead to playback problems on some DivX Certified devices.
Long strings entered into the metadata window may be truncated in the encoded file.
Subtitles may not look sharp when taken from a DVD with larger format subtitles.
AVS scripts may not always work with certain combinations of audio and video parameters.
Encoding a large number of files may not work when all loaded together.
No error message will appear if you try to convert a WMV file without Windows Media installed.
VOB files with navigation packets that appear before video and audio packets will not load onto Converter.
Subtitle tracks will not show up if the IFO file is not present or improperly named in the input directory of the loaded VOB files.
Progress bar may pause at 50% during encoding between first and second pass.
The MPEG-2 decoder that the DivX Converter uses will drop frames if they are detected as corrupted. This may lead to audio/video sync issues.
The MPEG-2 decoder that the DivX Converter uses does not work well in hyperthreaded environments and Converter will limit itself to one CPU while this is being used.
Files with a large audio delay, either positive or negative, may have audio/video sync issues.
Long path and filenames may get cut off in certain dialogue windows.
The QuickTime files that are working in Converter are MOV and MP4 files with H.264, MPEG-4, and AAC. MOV with MJPEG or Cinepack are not working and a user will get a "invalid "video" or "audio stream" error. The team is working on adding suport for more codecs and we should do a follow up release in the next couple of weeks.
Subtitles: There are some issues with a line or box appearing around subtitles some cases. The team is working on a fix for this and we will try and release a silent bug fix update to converter next week.
