FileZilla is a free, open source FTP client solution compatible with most systems.
In order to send files to our FTP server using FileZilla, follow this 3 simple steps:
- Download FileZilla
Go to http://filezilla-project.org/download.php FileZilla Client download URL, and download the correct version for your system. At time of this tutorial, you would download the FileZilla_3.5.1_win32-setup.exe recommended version for Windows.
- Install on your computer
Next, after you finish downloading the installation file, double click and install the FileZilla Client on your computer.
- Configure a connection to the DivX FTP server
Open Filezilla client. Now, click on the “Open Site Manager”, as indicated on the image below.
Now you can set up the a connection to the DivX FTP Server on the Site Manager. To do so, highlight MySItes and click “New Site”.
After that, name your new site connection – We named “DivX FTP” – and enter the information for host, authentication method, user name and password.
Server: http://ftp-west.divxllc.com:8080/WebInterface/login.html
Username: divxsupportPassword: h!21xM&B1zL2P3d&
Click Ok. Now you can quickly connect to our FTP server by clicking on the Site name under Site Manager.
- Upload Files to the DivX FTP server
Lastly, select the files you would like to upload. Then right click and press “upload”, or simply drag your files to the pane on the right.
