If you would like to get detailed information about your media files for personal use, or to send to DivX Support, you can use Media Info. It supports files that GSpot does not support such as MKV files.
First, download and install Media Info from here:
Windows:
http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en
Mac:
http://mediainfo-mac.en.softonic.com/mac/download
After installing, open the application. You can input a file into Media Info by either dragging and dropping your file on to the Media Info window, or by going to file--> open and selecting the file.
After the file has been loaded into Media Info, press the large green button with the white arrow on the left hand side of the application. When the new windows opens up, select the 'text' tab. Choose a desired file name and output location and hit 'OK'.
You now have a .txt file that contains detailed information about your file. You can keep this file for personal use, or you can send the .txt file to DivX Support as an attachment to your email.

I have Divx version 10.8.6 and it was working properly and when I by mistake updated it, it stopped working the Divx player from playing my videos which contains divx codec. Now I am stuck and can Not fix my divx player.
I tried many time to download and install the codec needed for divx player but, I wasn't successful in this mission !
Can any technician help me fix that.
