How to register your DivX Certified Device

WHY REGISTER?

DivX connects the movies you can purchase or rent online to your electronics devices through your computer and the DivX software. To play purchased DivX VOD movies on a DivX Certified Device (TV, Blu-Ray Player, Mobile Phone, Tablet, PlayStation3, etc.), you will need to complete a one-time DivX VOD registration.

HOW TO REGISTER? 

Registering your device for DivX VOD is a simple, one-time setup process. All you need is the DivX VOD code from your device, a PC or Mac with an Internet connection, and a free DivX Account.

Step 1: Obtain the DivX VOD code from your device.
 

The 8 or 10 digit DivX VOD code can usually be found in your device's on screen settings menu. Please refer to your devices manual for exact location.

 
Step 2: Create a DivX account. (If you already have a DivX account proceed to Step 3).
 

On your PC or Mac navigate to the following DivX VOD registration website and click 'Create Account'.  

 

 

Fill out all necessary fields and then click the ‘Create Account’ button to create an account. 



Confirm your account by clicking on the link in the confirmation email that is sent to you.

 
Step 3: Log in to your DivX account.
 

Step 4: Register a DivX Certified Device.
 

Enter the 8 or 10 digit DivX VOD code from your device and provide a name for your device. Click 'Next'.

Step 5: Download the activation file.
 

Click the ‘Download’ button to begin download of your activation file.

Please Note: You need to download the file on your PC or Mac. Downloading from other devices is not currently supported.

If you lose the activation file, you can request a download link from the DivX Support Team.
 

 
Step 6: Copy or burn your activation file to disc or USB and playback on your device.

Please Note: You can use the free DivX Software to copy or burn your activation file to USB or CD/DVD by following the instructions here. 

  
Step 7: Playback your activation file on your DivX Certified Device.

Congratulations! Once you see the activation video playback on your device you are all registered and are now ready to playback any DivX VOD movies you may have purchased.
