In DivX Pro Software the new trim mode in DivX Converter allows a user to trim (remove) either the beginning and/or end of a video to remove unwanted video before converting your video. This is especially useful if you wanted to remove an outtake. If you do not see this option please make sure you have the latest version of the DivX Pro installed. If you do not have DivX Pro you can purchase it here.
To do this open DivX Converter and then drag and drop the video which you would like to trim into the DivX Converter and click the 'Editing...' button:
In the advanced setting window that pops up, click the trim drop down menu and then tick the enable box. ***Please note Audio Pass through is not available and is disabled for trimming mode:
Now use the slider to mark where you want the video to begin and then click the 'Mark start' button:
Do the same for where you want the video to end except now click the 'Mark end' button:
You can use the 'Play Trim segment' button to preview your trimmed video:
Click the 'Apply' button to save your changes and if satisfied with your edits you can then click the 'OK' button to go back to the Converter window. To begin conversion click the 'Start' button. Your converted file will now be trimmed:
