DivX v 10.8.9 (MAC) 64-bit

I received Jeremy's email regards to the release of MAC 64-bit Beta version of DivX Pro. Downloaded it. It runs in Big Sur. However, I'm continue to receive a bunch of message saying "Divx will damage your computer....report malware to Apple" I  ignore the message and try to play MP4 and MKV files, it doesn't work.  Is there something I didn't do right during installation?
